About TripMatch

TripMatch connects travellers who want to go to the same places, at the same time, in roughly the same way. You tell us your interests, budget and travel style; we surface trips and people that actually fit.

Some members join a trip somebody else has planned. Others post their own and let matching bring the right people to them. Both work.

We are not a tour operator and we do not sell travel. We do not take a cut of your flights, your accommodation or your activities, and we do not arrange them. Those decisions and payments stay between you and the people you travel with.

That means we cannot guarantee a trip will happen, and we are not a party to any arrangement you make with another member. What we can do is help you find the right people and give you the information to judge them.

Identity verification is available to every member and is optional. Members who complete it carry a verification badge. Members who have not, do not — and you can always see which is which before you commit to anything.

Organisers accumulate a public track record from completed trips and participant ratings, so repeat organisers can be judged on history rather than promises.
